Buffalo-bred CUTE IS WHAT WE AIM FOR will bring their live show to Australia for the first time this November.
Since the band's birth in 2005, there has always been a genuine connection between CIWWAF and their teenage fans, much of which can be credited to the simple fact they too were barely out of their teens when they began. As the band themselves says, 'Who better to express the sentiments of their peers than a band of teenagers?’
Considerable online success came quickly for CIWWAF, and it wasn’t long before national exposure followed. Determined to capitalise on this early fortune, CIWWAF set out to record their debut album with the assistance of producer Matt Squire (Panic At The Disco, Taking Back Sunday, The Used), they created an album described by Kerrang Magazine as 'perfectly crafted pop-punk'.
Between 2008 and 2009, being on the road, the pressures of recording a second album Rotation and all of the attention that their success had exposed them to began to show, and many questioned if CIWWAF would be able to continue. But early this year a CIWWAF revival was announced, spearheaded by original front-man Shaant Hacikyan, with the prophetic message on the band's website reading, 'We're Back!'
A little older, a lot wiser, but more CIWWAF than ever before, don't miss the band on their long-awaited Australian tour.
Lydia from Arizona in the USA will be a special International Guest at the Adelaide show only on Saturday 27th November. This is will be the final shows for Lydia as part of their farewell tour.
